Welcoming Environment: The Parent Coordinator creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for parents. They post contact information, host workshops, and ensure bilingual parents receive support.

Parent Involvement: Through outreach programs, the Parent Coordinator encourages parent engagement. They distribute school directories, gather feedback, and collaborate with the Parent/Teacher Association (PTA).

Addressing Concerns: As the point of contact, the Parent Coordinator assists parents with questions and concerns. They also provide information on NYCDOE services.

Supporting the PTA: The Parent Coordinator helps establish PTA by-laws, attends meetings, and assists in outreach efforts.
